Sign me up for season tix. I have been waiting for UL to get an ice hockey for so long. I'll be at every home game.

What do they think their chances are of actually being able to use BC? As I understand, this is a club team, not an actual men's team, kinda like UL Rugby. In order to make this or rugby or men's soccer, actual NCAA sports, the school would have to add a women's sport to match because of Title IX reasons. Therefore, they wouldn't be much of a revenue generator, but sure would absorb a lot because of having to create the ice and such. The funds wouldn't come from the athletic department, but from an intermurals fund, and i don't know if there is enough money from that fund to start covering all this stuff.

The IceGators in their hayday use to attract 12,000 in the Cajundome. Perhaps Ron Handy is trying to get some investors to fix up BC? I wish I played hockey, I'd try out. Man, this is great. I'll sure as hell be going to every game.
