Facebook is a good way to keep up with friends and family you probably would never call. It can be strange as all get out when someone you were friends with 30 years ago pops up. That's about it.

Since I didn't have much to contribute to the pager conversation recently...

Back in my day, it was called thefacebook.com. You could only join if you had a .edu email, and you could only be friends with people at your school. There was no such thing as a status update.

Kinda weird to see how everything has evolved.

Back in your day? Come on man. You're making me feel old. I remember all this stuff as well. And at that time myspace was a much bigger deal than thefacebook.
