If you listen to UL head softball coach Michael Lotief or ace pitcher Jordan Wallace in Monday's weekly Ragin' Cajuns softball press luncheon, the emotions are varied.

As they look back on one of the more troubling weeks in the program's recent history with a humbling road sweep at Texas and home series loss to Western Kentucky and look forward to perhaps the most challenging road conference series that anyone can remember, neither was in a state of denial, nor did either appear defeated by the task at hand.
