X2!!! My parents have been bringing me to Alesi's as long as I can remember!Off topic but, I always liked Alesi's Pizza especially their Antipasto salad - simple but good!
Still one of my favorite places to eat. They havent changed much over the last 20 years.
A great place to bring a first date too!
20 years? I know they were like that when I got to town in '74, and when I looked at their website they've been there since '57.
It's also a great place to go if you want to eat yourself into a true food coma. Their version of the Tour of Italy is a mind boggling amount of food. I got it in college (peak eating age) and I could barely touch half of it. What is even more surprising is that there are people who finish it in one sitting according to the waitress. Last time I went to Alesi's me and my wife shared it and we still took home enough for dinner the next night.

I know the OP was asking about seafood... but I still love Alesi's. I've been eating there since a kid in the early 70s, and the marinara is still the same awesome Alesi recipe. The one thing that has changed is their ribeye. They actually have a really good ribeye steak now. I love their marinara dishes, the antipasto salad, and their pizza, to even bother with the steak. Lafayette food rules all the way around!
