Since I'm the Head Chef at Dwight's, I'm going to stand behind our product!

Get the blacked grilled alagator at Don's Seafood Hut. The raw oysters there are kinda small but very good.

Fortunately you have a product worth standing behind. Dwight's is a great choice.

Never ate at Dwight's...wife had crawfish there once and loved it. Gonna have to pencil Dwight's in as a must eat. Might be a Southside resident soon, would be close to it.

Guidry's Reef across from the Hilton. All seafood is fresh.. Lump crabmeat gumbo the best ever. Whole broiled flounder. Reasonable

Pont Breaux on the Breaux Bridge highway, it used to be Mulate's.

Not a bad suggestion that I've seen on this thread so far. For the money I don't think you beat Riverside or Dwights.

I'll add a couple of more though all of the below are definitely on the more expensive side compared to some of the offers.

Cafe Vermilionville is always good. Charlie G's is without a doubt one of the better places for fresh seafood. One of my favorites over the past couple of years though has to be Jolie's.

I've gone three times this year. Twice the oysters were huge and the other time decent sized (wouldn't say small). Oh, and the oysters are $.35 on Mondays along with 2 for 1 draft beer.

Man I'm getting hungry. Anyone ever tried Phare's or Bonefish Grill? I here both of those places are killer good also. never made it out to either, but have heard Phares has the best grilled oysters this side of Drago's.
