While it is great to have the links, these are rediculous to try to view. Nothing runs for more than about 5 secords then spends a minute buffering, then 5 seconds of interview then a minute of buffering. Can't we get these things to run smoother?

It might be your connection or not having an updated player. mine took about ten seconds or so for all of them to load, then they played straight through, no problems.

Ditto, except it took a couple of seconds longer for mine to load on Bustle.

You might try changing your settings to where it buffers to the max available memory before starting.

This will take longer to load but once it starts it should have enough of a head start to where it goes smooth all the way through.

    just a thought.

Then the nine months with no website did its job. Honest they won't remember a thing.

What I meant by my quip was that the old site was so.... how do I say this... 1995. The new site has video, pictures, news stories, and so many other features that are much better.

  8. Default Date Line ( 2007-08-15 ) UL moves entire team indoors for first time

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns were forced inside on Wednesday due to a short downpour in the early afternoon that saturated the practice fields. Unlike seasons past, the Cajuns didn’t have to scramble to find accommodations at the Cajundome, Blackham Coliseum or Bourgeois Hall. In fact, head coach Rickey Bustle’s troops only had to walk 10 yards into the new Leon Moncla Indoor Facility.

The Cajuns were able enjoy a full 13 period workout inside, including two kicking periods and two team periods.

“It’s great anytime you can get good work in,” said cornerbacks coach Hurlie Brown. “We’ve all been around places where practice is rained out. This indoor facility is the best thing we could possibly have so we don’t have to lose a day of practice.”

After a tough stretch during Tuesday’s practice, the Cajuns secondary bounced back during Wednesday’s training. A few athletic plays preceded an interception during the first down team period. In the third down period, the defense stopped four of the last six attempts.

“We are still working,” added Brown. “I don’t think we are having the success we’d like to have as coaches.

“We need to be realistic and understand that it’s a new defensive system. It takes time.

“We didn’t have a good practice yesterday. The offense came out and put it on us. I don’t know if we laid down yesterday, but today we regrouped and were much better.”

The Cajuns have their final two-a-day practice on Thursday with an 8am and 3:30pm practice. The team continues to install their goal line offense and defense in preparation for Saturday’s scrimmage. The second fall scrimmage at Cajun Field will begin with kicking drills at approximately 8:20am.

“I think we’ll have a good day tomorrow,” stated Brown. “Our guys aren’t concerned when, where or how many times we practice – they just come out and compete.”

  9. UL Football UL uses indoor facility

The UL football team's first full-scale venture into its indoor practice facility drew good reviews Wednesday afternoon.

"We got to do some good work in here," said Cajun coach Rickey Bustle. "We were able to save our fields outside, and we didn't miss a beat on anything."

"It feels good in here," said Cajun senior safety Derik Keyes. "It's a little humid, but it's in the shade and that's good. You can go all out in here."

Keyes' spirits may have been raised by an interception he grabbed during drills against the Cajun offense, but his reaction to the team's first completely-indoor workout of fall camp was echoed by several of his teammates.

"These guys aren't the type to sit around and complain," said cornerbacks coach Hurlie Brown. "They bring their lunch pails and hard hats and go to work. But mentally, it probably gave them a little spark going in here."

It never rained during UL's two-hour Wednesday afternoon practice, but overnight rains and a brief but heavy shower early Wednesday afternoon drenched the two outside practice fields.
