Poo Poo was there! It was an excellent event...far from perfect, but still an awesome event!
Kudos to Gerald Hebert, Mrs Fouquier, Weingerter, et al, Hammer, and many, many others who escape my memory at this moment!
I was fortunate enough to be there in the "worker bee" capacity! I got to witness first hand the hard work these folks put in.
It is my understanding that there will be a de-briefing sometime in the next few weeks to assure that any problems that occurred today, will not be there next year!
Thanks to all involved!

Didn't Beniot enroll this past spring and participate in spring drills. Did he transfer to K-State with a redshirt because he would be ineligibe this year. If he is good enough for K-State I would have found a scholarship for him.
Is there any chance that Greg Hathorn plays this year. I think he is a very good player and after Hardeway we are young.
My suggestions for next year.
1. Put this thing in the Indoor Practice Facility
2. The Band outside the stadium was a total waste. They should set up where people can listen, everyone was inside the stadium.
It was way too crowded to fit everyone in the walk-way. It made it difficult to get around and get concessions. If this was in the IPF the music could be heard, the cheerleaders could be heard, and everyone could have room to move around. It would also be much cooler and in bad weather you are covered.
I must say I had a great time and I thank everyone who helped.
Cajun Fan Day had a great turnout, enjoy the slide show!

At the ripe old age of 20, Tyrell Fenroy lapsed into nostalgia at the end of the first week of UL football's fall camp.
"We've got two new tailbacks, and they're asking me a lot of questions," Fenroy said. "It's the strangest thing. It was just yesterday that I was asking the seniors the same things."Two years ago, Fenroy was filled with questions, and with his soft-spoken demeanor it was a shock that anyone heard him ask. But it didn't take him long to get answers, and in those two years he's become the biggest running-back threat in the program's history.
No wonder the younger kids hunger for advice.
"It feels strange," he said, "but it's something I have to do to help make them better in the future."
For Fenroy, the future is now as he enters his junior year in a position that no Cajun has ever held. Two 1,000-yard rushing seasons have put him in striking range of UL's career rushing record, a mark he could reach with more than a season to go.

If turnout can measure enthusiasm and excitement, the Acadiana area is definitely ready for some UL football.
Nearly two thousand fans and followers jammed the concourse at Cajun Field Sunday afternoon to meet the Cajun football team and other fall sports squads at UL's annual Fan Day.
"This is way more people than when I first got here," said junior wide receiver Derrick Smith. "This is great."
The two hours featured free food and drink, musical entertainment, skydivers and the Fabulous Cajun Chicken, but the featured attraction were the members of the football, volleyball and soccer squads. Each team member was seated at long tables and fans queued up to collect autographs on a wide assortment of items.

Tyrell looked awesome in the scrimmage on Saturday. That was the first time that I saw him this season and it appears that he is even quicker and stronger this year.
The last two years, I would love to see him run up the middle and run over someone. Saturday he was finding the hole the line was making for him, making people miss, and then running over someone.
This year is going to be fun!
The only complaint I have is that the walkway was to crowded. I have small kids so it made it very hard to get them around. I quickly realized that the walkway was not a stroller friendly area so I brought the stroller we had for my 1 year old back to the car.
This event is getting bigger and bigger. The kids really enjoyed the skydivers & of course the Cajun Chicken. It was a fun even for all.
Thanks to all who were envolved in making Fan Day a success!
