They were saying that to their knowledge the original 5000 allotment has yet to be purchased. He thinks its just standard "wait to the last minute" stuff; but does expect a good following. We talked about tailgating and potential best places for them. Obviously the newly designated area for visitors to tailgate was not made with a "McNeese type crowd" in mind. As I said earlier, the spots just outside the stadium on the NE side (Cajundome side) would seem to be a perfect place for them especially if that is the entrance they need for visitor seating. _
For what it's worth, we really would prefer to be out at Blackum. We want the electrical hook ups, and we even have some things planned for Friday night. I'm afraid that if we don't get Blackum our folks will invade and end up taking up all your non-reserved spots by Friday afternoon. That would suck if someone did that to us. but of course, that why we have so many reserved spots.

There are so many things I would like to say about this picture, but I can't decide which to go with, so I'll leave them all in the hopper.

Its getting to crunch time. Less than a month. Alot of us want a contingency plan on what to do if we cant get it on TV.

    Directv's Response:
The College Football Schedule has not been finalized as of today. Please check back one week before the first weekend for the final schedule. Thank you for choosing Directv.

For there sake, they are lucky I am stuck in the country with no other choice. Alot of people in the area would pay for this game. I myself wouldnt mind paying 30 bucks just to watch, I can invite some diehards over, munch on some food, and I wouldnt have a problem with it. But knowing DTV's history and how they are, I am wary. And since no purple and gold on TV that night it should be a no brainer. But then again thats DTV's problem sometimes, no brain.

Forget about us kissing your collective @$$es, we are NOT Middle Tennessee's fans.

Show us RESPECT like we have showed your fans that have made the effort, and we will forget. Expect us to cave, then forget it.

The ball is in your court. Saying NOTHING can be considered a good thing at times.

Do you require 100 percent compliance? I have been giving and asking others to respect McNeese fans. Doesn't that count for something?

That's cool. Just figured you would like to be closer to the stadium. I haven't been to the area around Blackham in many years; so didn't even realize that it would suffice as a good spot to tailgate.

Absolutely it counts, and we appreciate those of you who are civil and want to have fun. Maybe you and a few others can have more effect over time. What kind of fans and supporters of our progran would we be if we did not defend ourselves tell the death?

But as I said, sometimes saying nothing is better than nothing for some.

Normaly being around the rest of the crowd is fun, but with the price of gas, and all the noise those generators make, having electrical hook-ups is VERY nice. And we take our Friday night pre-tailgate party pretty seriously. Having a spot like Blackum would be kind of nice, IMO.

Did I ask you to kiss our asses? No. You make it sound liek you are a poor innocent victim of the mean old UL fans. I gave you an example of why many of us don't feel the need to be hospitable to you. If any thing it seems to be you that consideres "an effort" to be UL fans kissing your asses. This is a two way street.

And once again, you show up on a UL board dictating to UL fans on the right way to think. Maybe you need to follow your own advice about saying nothing.
