I'm with you. I always try to make an effort...Those spots along bertrand, closest to the congress intersection, are always greatly used. We used to head out there for every game. Most of the time, I would get out there by 7 or 8 and we could get what we wanted, but usually by mid-morning, all of those spots were taken, and RVs were usually parked there the night before. If they get there to late, then jsut tailgate in the parking lot. Should ahve been there earlier.

Yea, I like my neighbor to come over for a beer and burger, but the McNutts take it to a whole new level. They announce they are coming over, grabbing a couple of steaks from your frige and throwing them on your grille, while icing down and guzzling a case of that favorite beer you been holding. Duh? You get home at five and they are mauling your favorite squeeze and act surprised when you tell them to hit the road. That is how I view the typical Delphi McNutt.

I think you are right except for the CBS thing. Don't forget you can take advantage of streaming at UL, and the same technology will be in play at other Sun Belt locations.

You haven't had any real life exposure to McNeese tailgaters, have you?

You seem to have a very bitter attitude.

I hope we all can treat McNeese fans in a dignified manner because they deserve it.

CSTV is the College Sports Television network that is associated with CBS.

CSS is Comcast Sports Southeast. I had it on my cable system when I lived in Monroe, but I don't know where else in the state it is available.

I think that with DirecTV, you'll have a better chance of getting the games than with Cox or other cable providers. Whether or not it will come std or you will need to buy a sports package is different. _

Yeah, i relaized earlier that CSTV was that CBS one, but hadn't heard of the CSS so i just left it alone. I am curious, though, if those of us in Houston will be able to get those games. I switched to DirecTV just before I found out that time Warner was going to Comcast, or I would ahve stayed and tried it out. but i would imagine that with a sports package, one would be able to catch that comcast channel.

Well, here recently we've been exposed to your "McNeese Tailgaterguy" who is apparantly some sort of an anti-UL jihadist bin Laden type character. If you want to talk about "attitudes" maybe we need to start with him.

Otherwise, the game is on Sept 15th and I'll be there so drop by and say hello. I offered two of my tickets to my buddy in Sulphur and his far better half but I don't think he'll take me up on the opportunity to enjoy the game amongst we Cajun fans.

Speaking of tickets, do you guys have an updated amount that you have sold for the game. Wasn't it at around 8k a few weeks ago, or were you expecting 8 k to be there?

Like I asked CE, have you had any personal real life experiences with any McNeese tailgaters?

Tailgateguy in person is not the same person he is online. He still can be a little irritating but he is not the same. Ask Z and Cali, they have both met him.
