Bustle is hoping his team starts putting things together right at the start of training camp, beginning at 9 a.m. Friday when dorms open. UL meets as a team at 2 p.m. Friday prior to physicals, and the squad officially begins practice at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
It's five days and counting before UL's football team can begin the process of redemption.
The Ragin' Cajuns report for the start of fall drills Friday, anxious to erase the memories of a 2006 season that fell well below expectations and anxious to begin a season in which Sun Belt Conference honors are definitely up for grabs.
Yes, the process of putting 2006 in the past began several months ago in spring drills. And, yes, it's not like last fall was a disaster, since the 6-6 finish matched the most wins the Cajuns have recorded since 1993.
But so much more was expected at this time last year. UL was a consensus pick to win the Sun Belt, and showed its potential in an early-October road win at eventual Conference USA champion Houston. But three straight mid-season conference losses turned a potential dream season into a nightmare.

Apparently they have designated an area for visiting fans to tailgate and it is not along Bertrand Drive but in a section along Congress St.Originally Posted by NewsCopy
