_ This is the most original, unique complaint I have seen posted in connection with Cajun athletics.

Yes my complaint seemed petty but I have good reason. I was wondering if everyone got the same type of tickets I got or not. I have extra tickets that I often give out to friends or employees I work with. When I give tickets out to someone who usually do not go to games, I want that ticket to look nice and professional not cheap.
I also collect ticket stubs and the non generic look much better.

I finally saw one of those on a car today. It had Ragin Cajuns on an outline of the state of Louisiana so it created the effect of "Louisiana Ragin Cajuns" for Jindal. Bobby bettrr watch it; the Baton Rouge tanktop media will make him swear fealty to the flagship agenda.

Football -- Light Workout for Cajuns

  Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns practiced for less than 90 minutes on Friday in preparation for Saturday’s scrimmage. The workout was the team’s second practice in three days in the Leon Moncla Indoor Facility.

UL will hold their second scrimmage of the fall at Cajun Field beginning at 8am. Following stretching, specialty and individual warm-ups, the scrimmage will start around 8:20am. In the event of rain, the scrimmage will be held inside the indoor facility.

All fans are still invited to attend even if the scrimmage is held inside, but are asked to enter the facility on the southeast corner – walking through the practice field and entering in the end zone closest to Lamson Softball Park.

Friday’s practice was a short seven periods, of which four were focused on special teams.

“I thought we had a very good practice,” said tight ends coach Troy Wingerter. “We are very fortunate to have a facility to work out in.

“We had a full speed practice at a crisp tempo.”

The Cajuns spent all week installing more of the play book, including red zone and goal line. The scrimmage will predominately work those facets of the game. The offense will have the ball in open field situations as well, but the defense will have their backs against the wall on several occasions.

“The offense needs to expand its’ play book,” stated Wingerter. “We also need to increase the speed at which we played over last Saturday.”

Sixteen different players caught a pass in the Cajuns first scrimmage one week ago, including several tight ends. Wingerter attributes the increased production of his tight ends to hard work.

“We are involved in more aspects of the offense,” added Wingerter. “It’s a testament to how hard my guys trained all summer and how much they’ve pushed each other.

“We have a good package of the running and passing games and it helps the tight ends be involved.”

There will be some new wrinkles on display today, both on offense and defense, when UL holds its second full-scale scrimmage of fall football camp. The Cajuns will scrimmage at 8:30 a.m. at Cajun Field to wrap up the second week of practice, and in essence end training camp. The squad will take Sunday off and will move to a once-daily schedule on Monday with the opening of fall semester classes. Both offensive coordinator Blake Anderson and defensive coordinator Kevin Fouquier said that their packages are more complete now than last Saturday, when UL held its first fall scrimmage. "We've have our whole package in now," Fouquier said. "Last week we only had maybe half of it in. Last week was more of a situational thing. This time it's a game. They got to UL within a week of each other, having come from different places but with similar backgrounds. Blake Anderson and Kevin Fouquier each replaced coaches who were popular among players and with Ragin' Cajun fans, but neither has yet to cast any aspersions on their predecessors in the UL coordinator roles. They have each made changes - some more in form, some more in function - and they're just as anxious as everyone else to see how those changes play out. Coach Fouquier's family is settled in as well. His wife Christine was a big part of the Fan Day planning and execution along with Coach Wingerter's wife, Cydra. these two ladies worked really hard and deserve a lot of credit for the success of Fan Day.
