It'll get you that same "dant da dant" from the hand held scanners when you walk in to the game. But!! If we had VIP looking tickets it could be like, " da DA DAHHHHHH"

Got my tickets today with my parking pass and my kids youth passes. I thought the tickets looked as nice as last year.

  6. UL Football Thursday's Two-A-Day Ends with a Splash

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns “practiced” twice on Thursday, working hard in the morning before receiving a welcomed break in the afternoon. The team was slated for their final two-a-day workout with an 8am and a 3:30pm practice.

After a tough morning session in full pads, the Cajuns were rewarded with an afternoon at the pool.

“I felt like they needed a break,” said head coach Rickey Bustle. “The guys worked really hard in the morning and for that matter they’ve worked really hard all camp.”

The Cajuns hit each other in the morning during a physical middle drill and team periods of goal line offense/defense.

“They got after it in middle drill,” added Bustle. “I thought the competition around the goal line was very good.

“Both sides of the ball competed and were physical.

“We had planned to come back out and practice (in the afternoon), but an afternoon at the pool was well deserved.”

Following position meetings at 2pm, the Cajuns waited for a break in the weather before sneaking off to the pool at Bourgeois Hall.

The team will return to practice on Friday afternoon. Practice should mirror last Friday’s light workout in preparation for Saturday’s scrimmage at Cajun Field. The second fall scrimmage will begin with kicking drills at approximately 8:20am.

  7. UL Football Squad spends afternoon at Bourgeois Hall

UL's total two-a-day practices dropped from three to two on Thursday, when the Ragin' Cajun football team replaced a hot workout with a cool respite.

Head coach Rickey Bustle canceled Thursday's afternoon workout after a two-hour full-pads morning session, and instead sent the entire team to the pool behind Bourgeois Hall for the afternoon.

"We've worked these kids hard," Bustle said after surprising the team with the announcement of the "pool party" after the morning practice. "For the most part they've responded well."

Ditto, but I miss the wrap around coozie. The pen was a tad lame.

J-Town, mine were fancy, not the generic! You must of renewed a little late, or just after they(UL) sent a batch for printing and UL did not want yours to have a chance at being late!

When is our Summer meeting in Jennings going to be with Gerald and Tim, yourself, a few other B-men and I?

Hey DaddyCajun, I set a Difference Makers meeting in Jennings on Monday Aug. 27. The presentation will start at 6:00. I sure hope you and any others can make it. I started another page with this information. You can contact me at 789-0352 or jeffpersonpt@msn.com. Dr. Tim Barry is aboard with me to get this meeting together.

I want to apologize about the comment about the generic tickets. Although I renewed back in May, I bought another season ticket and had to move seats. I just did this about a month ago and this is why I did not get the nice ones. I thought everyone got tickets like mine and I thought it looked cheap.
