Unfortunately LTU, due to the increased overhead of the WAC, had to do more payday games.

We did not play pay-day games "due to the increased overhead of the WAC"...we played pay-day games due to the laziness of our athletic director. Luckily, he doesn't have control over scheduling any longer. I enjoyed our last series with UL at L. I particularly enjoyed a little Prejean's after the game. I think don't think Dooley would be opposed to a game with the Cajuns.

well there was chatter about a 2 for1 with A Sunbelt school, I don't think Tech is in any position to do that with any of them with the exception of ULM FAU or FIU but I don't even see the Florida schools biting at that.

Just proves that perception and reality are sometimes different.

I think that the fact that their reason for ranking UL where they did, i.e. totally based on the past ten years and not what is happening now, offers no credit to this thing. All they ever do is take the top half of the BCS schools, study and rank them, and then just let the others fall the same as they did last year. Proof is that UL was being ranked the same five years ago. Everyone who knows the program knows its a lot better now than it was then, but we're still ranked the same. There are tons of reasons why the poll is bogus.

But, you are correct when you say "we have some more convincing to do to the outside sports world." A couple more OOC wins v. teams in other non-BCS conferences (although BCS wins wouldn't hurt), a bowl bid or several, plus our conference mates winning their OOC games, getting into and winning bowls, and winning records against other conferences will all help.

I THINK THE SUMMER SCHOOL GRADES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE POSTED TODAY. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF EVERYONE IS ELIGIBLE. IF ANYONE HEARS ANYTHING PLEASE INFORM.
