    Tiffany was Born July 3, 1982, in New Iberia, La. but grew up in Franklin Louisiana.

    She is the daughter of Ydell Washington. Tiffany has two brothers, Rogers (25) and Immanuel (22), and one sister, Sommers (20)

    At the time of this writing her brother Immanuel is playing for Louisiana's mens basketball team. He is a senior, and will be gone for 2003-04

    Besides playing basketball Tiffany enjoys going to the movies in her spare time.

    Her natural position at 6'1" is forward.

    In High School Tiffany was a four-year letterwinner for Andre Lockley, where she served as team captain for Franklin High.

    Her senior year she averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and three steals per contest.

    Tiffany was a two-time all-district and all-parish selection, and earned honorable mention all-state honors.

    Besides basketball whe also ran track for three years and played volleyball for one season, earning all-district honors as a spiker in volleyball.

    For the 2000-2001 basketball season Tiffany Washington played basketball for coach for Ara Baten as a freshman at New Mexico Junior College.

    As a freshman, she earned honorable mention all-conference honors, and set the school record for blocked shots in a season with 65 while winning the team's defense award.

    As a Sophomore for the 2001-2002 season Tiffany Washington continued her stellar play at New Mexico Junior College.

  5. She averaged 15.8 points and 11 rebounds per outing.
  6. Her rebounding total ranked 8th-best nationally among junior college players.
  7. Her scoring average was 25th-best nationally among junior college players.

    On the team level Tiffany tallied;
  8. A team-best 2.1 blocks per game
  9. A team best 2.1 steals per game
  10. Started all 26 of the team's games
  11. Shot 56 percent (165-of-295) from the floor
  12. Was the team's leading rebounder 21 times
  13. Had one game against Grayson C.C where she scored a season-best 29-points, coupled with 20-rebounds.

  14. Default

    For 2002-03 Tiffany Washington transfered from New Mexico Junior College to Oklahoma State where she appeared in just two games, sprained her ankle, and was dismissed from the team reportedly for "violation of team philosophy."

    For those two games Tiffany averaged 16.5 minutes, 3 rebounds and 3 points per outing.

    According to her coach at OSU, coach Goodenough; "She is very athletic, a great jumper who is hard to contain inside, She is very aggressive, and when she makes her mind up she is a great defensive player. We also look for her to really produce on the offensive end. She is having a little trouble finishing now, but she is coming around."
