And their only losses, ooc, were to teams that won their conferences!
Middle is now in Joe Lunardi's first four out.
IMO, I don't think Middle gets an invite. People thought expanding the field would help avoid situations like this. Nope.
WKU will be back dancing again, book it.
Crazy, their SOS was around 41 the night they played us. That and a very solid RPI gets them in. To get in as an at large means your seed cannot be below a 12.
In spite of what some say, the RPI is one of several things considered. This way they always have good reasons to do whatever they need to do to protect low average power conference teams.
I agree they should be In( in case you didn't read that the previous 3 times I wrote it) if they don't get in...what will be the reason? Rpi? SOS? Or 26 of their 28 wins came against teams with rpi over a 100? What will the be the "experts" reason for them getting left out? If you are saying they are a lock for getting in, I don't agree.
Can no one win the tournament game tonight? I hate to see either of these schools win it. Why couldn't ASU pull it out last night????
I think I'll look at it this way.
On the men's side; the Cajuns wore down MTSU to where they couldn't compete against FIU the next night.
On the women's side: the Cajuns wore down WKU to where they couldn't compete against UALR the next night.
I'm sticking with this story.
God I hate to see WKU celebrating!
