KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Top prospects George Springer and Delino DeShields Jr. highlighted the Astros’ first cuts of spring training Sunday morning. Outfielders Mark Krauss and Jake Goebbert and infielder Chris Wallace were also reassigned to minor-league camp. Lefthander Rudy Owens and righthander Sam Demel were optioned down to minor-league camp. Other players who were added to the 40-man roster this winter will likely be the next cuts, general manager Jeff Luhnow said.
