I haven't seen him play, but just from talking to Uncle Danny and reading reports on his game, he reminds me of John Scheyer (sp?) that played for Duke a few years back.

There games may be comparable, but Scheyer was 6'5 and averaged 32ppg in Chicago. Touchet is really really good. But, I don't think he's Duke good:

Why isn't Danny pushing the kid to UL??? he is an alumnus and is at all the UL functions!!! I think the Cajuns have been a great fit for many ex STMers!!!

Maybe, because he is letting the kid make his own decision.

Because parents don't appreciate coaches pushing their kids to certain schools most of the time. He knows what UL has to offer, but you always consider every option on the table. Its up to the staff at UL to sell him on the program.

Our freshman shortstop is a Trahan. Our announcer pronounces his name "Trey Han". I cringe everytime I hear that, right here in the heart of Cajun Country! We've got to change that. (he's a dang good player though!!)

I know, I've heard that's the way his family pronounces his name so he requested it be that way. Craziness I tell ya.
