Wasn't real impressed with our overall effort. We struggle to match Friday night starters on the mound. And we struggle to hit Friday night arms.

UTSA and CMU will be regional teams this year and Sacred Heart I think could be one too, so your competition theory goes out the window.

Regardless of competition, we aren't "struggling" on Fridays as you've said. Our stats prove otherwise. The ONLY blemish so far on Fridays has been Traffica.

We faced USM's ace on a good day, but we will win this series because that's all they have.

I completely agree with you here. That was literally the 3rd game we lost and the first one on a Friday... so to prove your point even further.... beyond "stats" are WINS. And we've been winning on Friday nights so far.

We faced USM's ace who is a stud, and we faced him in the FIRST ROAD GAME OF THE SEASON, after 13 HOME GAMES. It's completely understandable, in fact, maybe even predictable that we would have lost that game. But taking back a big win today 13-4, only shows the caliber of this team. I firmly believe we take the series tomorrow. I hope I am right, cause if we do it will be a very good quality road series win.
