I don't know. Maybe they did but when you use the term "handled" I think of winning in a dominating fashion. Andrew Pierce is 4-0 with an ERA less than 2.

If we look bad today then yeah, I'll be worried.

We need to find a reliable Friday guy before conference play starts. Might be time to give Ryan Wilson another weekend shot, maybe on a Sunday.

Well they didn't handle it and beat him. Troy only took 2 out of 3 against USM and lost the first 12-4 with Pierce pitching for the Eagles.

Pierce is a great pitcher and we haven't found a dominating Friday guy yet. I'm not terribly worried. Now if we don't compete today and tomorrow, I'll be upset.

No. USM beat them ... 12-4 ... at Troy ... on a Friday night. :-)

All of USM's games vs SBC teams last week were on the road as well.

Wasn't real impressed with our overall effort. We struggle to match Friday night starters on the mound. And we struggle to hit Friday night arms.

Hmmm, we're averaging 9 runs for and 5.75 against in 4 friday night games. That's averaging a win on friday nights. It's just one game dude, we aren't "struggling" with anything...
