I making my trip to houston again on the 20th of May to catch the stros play the Rangers. I'm having a hard time trying to predict who will be pitching that sunday. I sure hope they don't lose. I usually try to catch at least 2 games a year. Its about all I can afford as a student. I'm just not as excited about this year's trip as usual.

Just to correct myself. I must have misunderstood the guy on the radio yesterday morning. Wandy Rodriquez went last night, not nieve. Nieve, on the other hand, was in the news yesterday because it was announced that he was having surgery on his arm (not sure which part) and would be out at least 12-18 months.

If you can't handle playing an entire season and traveling with you team, hang em up. Any thoughts? _
Roger has changed the game. He can dictate what he does, and when he does it, just like he has for years. Playing a half season and helping your team get to the playoffs is good enough for me. He is a hired gun, like all pro athletes today. No loyalty, not even during the season. Why get upset about this one or that one, they are all the same. I damn sure would dictate the terms of my employment if I had the clout, and I suspect so would you.

Getting on a soap box like I have heard on call in shows and like this thread seems strange to me. If Clemens is a bad guy it did not start last week, and we the fans give them that power. Nobody hails an owner who does the right thing, they hail the guy who brings them a winner.
