Coach Hud?

The unsubstantiated rumors of les miles being fired at lsu last week got me thinking. What if, just conjecture here, miles would have been fired at this point in the year....would Hud be on lsu's radar and what if miles leaves or is fired next year. Does Hud leave us for the dark side. Then how do our opinions change about hud. I know I am just speculating here, but if hud leaves I would want to go anywhere but lsu.

I don't think he'd be on their radar screen yet. 2-3 more years of success here, then maybe.

If they did come after him, of course he'd take it. He'd be an idiot not to. It's one of the top 5 jobs in the country.

And no, I wouldn't feel any differently about him. There's a 99% chance he'll leave at some point, to go somewhere bigger and better than us. We all know that. It doesn't matter if its LSU or Mississippi St to me.

LSU last two hires have been head coaches from other BCS programs.

I would imagine Hud would have to take a step before that. LSU is a top 5 job in the country.

Wouldn't bother me a bit of he went there, at the end of the day it's all business. That kind of payday comes around once in a lifetime if you're lucky.

As much as we love Hud, his resume' is missing one big thing. A conference championship.

I would hate for Hud to end up at LSU. Anyplace but LSU, I would be happy for him and sad for us if and when he leaves for a big payday.
