The Cajuns cannot win the title. Due to the rained out game against South Alabama they are one game less played than everyone else. FAU has already clinched a tie, but if Troy loses today FAU will hold the outright title. If the Cajuns win and Troy loses, UL will be in second place, and most likely a #2 seed in the tournament.

I want Troy to lose because I don't like them. It is very unfortunate though because if you remember we swept FAU on the road earlier in the season.

Hopefully UL can continue it's dominance of the conference tournament.

this quote from another article on sunbeltsports.org confirms my suspicions that the best we can do is 2nd for the regular season title:

"FAU needs a win from South Alabama tomorrow against Troy to clinch the crown."

Meaning that whether Troy or South Al loses, we're screwed either way. Unless a miraculous thunderstorm pops up and cancels the game totally?
