MONROE - For the second straight night, UL's bullpen helped the Ragin' Cajuns hold onto an early lead.

This time it was closer, but the Cajuns still find themselves four games in front in the race for the Sun Belt Conference title.

Reliever Andrew Laughter was the beneficiary of a standout defensive play and then retired the last four batters he faced Saturday night as UL took a 6-5 victory over UL Monroe and took a 2-0 lead in their Sun Belt Conference series.

UL (34-13, 17-6 Sun Belt) held a 6-1 lead before the Warhawks (27-22, 14-11) rallied with a run in the seventh inning and Josh Morrison's three-run homer with one out in the eighth. That's when Laughter came in and promptly walked pinch hitter Ty Rollinson.
