LAKELAND, Fla. – Jarred Cosart struggled for the first time during spring training in a rough start Monday against the Detroit Tigers. The right-hander was scheduled to throw three innings but was limited to two, allowing four hits and three earned runs while walking four. Cosart left the mound early in the third, turning the ball over to reliever Josh Zeid with the bases loaded. Cosart said he was over-excited on the mound and was unable to slow down his delivery.
