We have a very good team and they are still very young. Rob is more worried about where they will be at the end of the year, then where they are now. I got needed work for guys that will be needed down the road. I hope Rob stays till he is 75. Mark it down now, I bet we make the NCAA tournament.

The guy is now working on getting to 1000 wins---1000---1000---I say he stays till he wants out!!! I think that he also needs to be in the administration--a very bright guy and I have told him on more than one occasion that I think he would be a super AD---BTW this was well before Walker and Farmer!!!!

YOU DON'T DO THAT IF YOU ARE IN A LEADERSHIP POSITION! PERIOD! You don't do it. To identify winners you have to be a winner. In a case like picking HUD, any bozo should have been able to see his personna. In short a winner sees opportunity in any situation. A winner is organized. A winner can take the complicated & make it simple. A winner makes everyone feel like their role is the most important to the team whoever they are. A WINNER HAS A PLAN! A winner can break down that plan. A winner can get people excited about the plan. A winner can break the plan down into accomplishable tasks & scales so the plan is achievable. A winner can balance out the reality of his/ her present situation with the dream of accomplishing what everyone else sees as the impossible and provide a road map for achieving that dream. Most importantly a winner isn't going to be perfect & has to be able to admit to himself when he's made a mistake in judgement. He then has to make the necessary changes to rectify those errors. IE Sean Payton & Steve Spagnola.

Is Scott Farmer a winner? Does he give the personna of a winner? Where is the plan? Does it include the road map for achieveing the goals set forth in the plan? Does it include the fundraising efforts to achieve set goals? Has anyone heard any rumors of contractors lining up to perform any of the groundwork of the plan? Are the necessary coaches being retained to make certain the plan comes to full fruition? If not, why not?
    Damn.

A great leader inspires and motivates everyone around them. Has SF inspired or motivated anyone?

Nobody deserves a lifetime gig, nobody!

Robe deserves the gig because he is still very effective. If he works long enough that may, and probably will change. He has been in a mild slide, but has changed things and the overall job he does is still very good.

We have won 48% of the total number of games we won last year, and we have only 7% of the losses. Our RPI is sitting pretty strong right now. I have always said that in roughly a 55 game season, the key is 35 wins. Not that you are guarenteed with a 35-20 record as a mid major, but it usually gets you close. We are well on our way.
