LAKELAND, Fla. – Right-handed pitching prospect Jarred Cosart is scheduled to make his first spring training start Monday against the Detroit Tigers at 12:05 p.m. at Joker Marchant Stadium. Cosart, 22, has only allowed one hit in four innings during two relief appearances. He’s struck out two without allowing a run. Cosart is expected to begin the regular season as one of Class AAA Oklahoma City’s primary starters.
