Every time I get depressed about how bad things get at UL I know I can look at ULM and realize it's not as bad as it could be.

It is true that things could be worse. All one has to do is look at ULM to see how bad things can be, yet we find ourselves stuck in a conference with them while we watch many of our peers leave for CUSA. It's a crying shame that we're in this position. It should never have happened.

Actually, we have been in the 2nd round the last two years due to having first round byes. It is unfortunate we could not advance beyond that point. We have not gotten to the semi-finals since 2006. Last time we won the tournament was 2005. As far as today's game goes, Barnett had a three point play and Moore made a three pointer. When ULM made a late run to cut the lead to four I was thinking it would be a shame to lose on a day when those rare things happened. Moore had a put back to stem the tide and the Cajuns were finally able to enjoy a ride home. It's been tough on the road for those guys and I am happy for them that they can go to bed with smiles after a trip for once.
