Grown woman? Then perhaps you should start acting like one. Again, I'm not the one making allegations on this board, you are! And from the looks of your language, a fowl mouth little smart a**. It's a shame you haven't taken the Catholic education you were given and learned something from it. I sure hope my children get more out of a Teurlings education then the ignorance and stupidity I have read in your statements.Good luck to you and your family.

I did not go to a catholic school. Im not even from lafayette. And do not tell me about my fowl mouth i can say what i want to say like i said im GROWN. Sure hope your kids do not take after you. You act like you know me or something. the one who see ignorance and stupidity is usually the one who is just as ignorant and stupid. You do not know me or my family so stop trying to act like you know more or something. You wish you only knew who i was.

  4. UL Basketball Rogers returns home to coach Lady Cajuns

Errol Rogers made an immediate impact on one member of UL's women's basketball team. But it wasn't the impact he expected.

"One girl came in and started screaming and hollering last night," Rogers said Wednesday during his introduction as the 11th coach in Ragin' Cajun history.

That girl was Courtney Ratliff, who was part of the delegation of Cajun players that met with Rogers late Tuesday night. Ratliff, one of the seniors on next year's squad, recognized Rogers from her recruitment by Mississippi State out of junior college.

"I was really scared about what was going to happen," Ratliff said. "When I saw him, I had to walk back outside and try to remember where I knew him from. I took a recruiting visit to Mississippi State ... we shot pool together. I think I beat him."

Ratliff and her UL teammates have more confidence in Rogers' ability to continue the recent success of the program than in his pool game.

  5. UL Basketball Rogers' path to UL full of twists and turns (not to mention a flip)

In a room filled with suits and ties, and notepads and pens, Gloria and Odell Rogers stuck out like a sore thumb.

And it didn't matter a lick to them. On Wednesday afternoon at a press conference in the Cajundome, that was the kid they brought into the world 46 years ago standing behind the podium.

Proud? Neither Gloria or Odell had to say a word to see that.

I guess you could say that Errol Rogers brings some baggage with him as UL's new women's basketball coach. It's a non-traditional path through life and parents that loved him every step of the way.

I want to welcome Coach Rogers, and I feel that this was a good decision for ULL Basketball. I didn't listen to the news conference yet, did Coach Rogers say anything about keeping Coach Hatchell, and did he have any info on new players being recruited ???

    Thanks
