The athletic department contacted the NCAA Enforcement staff before making this decision (as it does with every new coaching hire). The NCAA told the department that there was no record of Rogers nor Mississippi State having any violations against them having to do with recruiting or anything else. Maybe the NCAA lied, who knows, but the university does check these things out.

There is no doubt that coach Gary Brodhead is a very good coach and certainly a qualified applicant. But, I strongly suggest that you, as a Broadhead supporter should not be making these allegations publicly. I can't tell you how many times I have heard allegations about high school coaches cheating or recruiting athletes, and never publicly made mentioned of them. I would hope that you would not want such allegations leveled at Coach Broadhead and his program on this board as well. I don't believe that such allegations should be made when you are dealing with a persons' career, without any documented evidence. I can understand your disappointment, but let's not make this a personal vendetta.

o get over yourself. Brodhead recruiting hahahaha what a joke. players come to his highschool because he is such a damn good coach he doesnt need to recruit. I would love to hear one player he recruited haha cause half the time he makes it to SWEET 16 with below average players. If he wanted to recruit I promise he would have recruited wayyyyy better players then he has had in the past. And it is not allegations I would not have posted that if I did not know for sure. Half of this mans violations are still being investigated. I can post whatever the hell I want just as you can. This is far from personal. I made no such allegations against Coach Broadhead. I stated that I can't count the times that people have made such allegations about coaches in this area. And I stated that I don't think you would like such allegations made against Coach Broadhead as a supporter. The NCAA has reported to the Compliance officer at UL that Coach Rogers has no issues a this time with any investigation. So until there is anything official from the NCAA to state otherwise, I have to give him the benefits. Perhaps at this time, you and others can take a step back from this decision. I'm quite certain that you have made some poor decisions in life, and you are not casting stones?

But what i Know is what I know im not gonna lie about something like that. and dont tell me about my decisions in life you dont know who iam to judge me. or tell me what kind of decisions of have made. I dont even know Brodhead but have heard many great things about him just think he deserved it and I can state whatever I would like. so PERHAPS at this time you can take to you counsling think you know all self to someone who cares and has time to listen to all the things you think you know. But I dont. and actually just to let you know i think i have made pretty sound decisions in my life so do not come a try to attack me personally because you certainly do not know me

I'm not stating that you are lying, just that you can't prove it! Your opinion is just that, an opinion. I have seen no evidence as of yet from you, just opinions based on emotion. And the fact that you have not posted in a single thread on this board until the coaching decision was made, tells me you are supporter or family member of Broadhead. In any case, it is easy to hide behind the keyboard and make such allegations. If you are going to make such allegations about a person that has family and friends in this community, then be prepared to face the fire. I haven't attacked you personally, but just called attention to your own hypocrisy.
