    Default Pressure on BB coach..

Has anyone heard that pressure may have been put on Robichaux to get this team to the regionals or even super regionals this year? Heard this last night form someone that is somewhat, well let's say in the circle........

Certainly less pressure than he already puts on himself.

I highly doubt that. If the pressure is coming from Farmer, its pretty clear, after the Lotief situation, which side T Joe will fall on. I am shocked Farmer still has a job after all his screwups that T Joe has had to clean up and his great Master Plan that was supposedly going to be ready for the ESPN Arkansas State game in October.

Just something I heard. I am not putting much credence in this. Evidently you have not heard anything either.

I would think it was the epitome of hypocrisy for the AD to question Tony's performance on the field considering his own unfulfilled job responsibilities in handling the prime opportunities regarding facility improvement for the baseball stadium. You had a big donor willing to give to the program, and we do nothing but talk for 2-3 years until the money is no longer available? Based on that scenario, he should have run himself out of town after three years.

Not happening...Robe's time is inline with Austin's time. We'll get to a regional one of the next two years and he'll either retire or be pardoned. I like Robe, but new blood in the near future can't hurt??

I think having new coaches with a complete change in hitting philosophy is new blood. If you've seen this team, it's not the hitting concept of any of our prior coaches ever. The only issue would be if you can keep coach Deggs. I'd also say it wouldn't surprise me that coach Babineaux is now in the dugout as training for a head coach position, here or elsewhere.

900 wins. Hot start at 8-2. It's kinda early to be talking about regionals and new blood. Go to some games, eat you a Deano's pizza and some peanuts, wash them down with some Canebrake, and enjoy some exciting baseball.

Here is what I think happened, I'm sad to say.

A question was posed on RP by RC90, it was whispered to each person at the water cooler and by the time it got to you it had changed a little to what you heard.

    RCajun90 posted his question here.

Now I don't mind when rumors get started at the water cooler and arrive here unannounced, because they are usually straightened out in short order. But it bothers me when they start here go to the water cooler, change up a bit and make there way back to RP.

It just leaves me utterly confused

Although I will say this I will take the rumor circle any day than go back to when it started at the water cooler and got whispered over and over but had no where to get straightened out.
