Thread: Lady Cajun Pitching could be the nations best for years to come.

  1. UL Softball Lady Cajun Pitching could be the nations best for years to come.

Perhaps I should have said Lady Cajun Pitching could be among the nations best for the next several years.

Just this year 3 UL pitchers (current and future) have pitched no hitters. Some on multiple occasions.

Current UL Ace (just a freshman) Brittany Cuevas has pitched multiple no hitters this year

UL signee Ashley Brignac has pitched multiple no hitters this year.

UL signee Donna Bourgeois pitches a no-hitter just last night to win the State Championship for her school.

UL pitching is in good hands.

We have been known to be a one pitcher team for years! What are we going to do with THREE pitchers??

Which is why the current whining from conference mates about a lack of an automatic bid will quickly become academic next season.

The really funny part is that none of them can see what's coming.

ditto on the academic thing. I also would have loved to hear what the basis of their argument was on why they should have been in the NCAAs as well. You know that if they actually would have a decent RPI and a strong OOC schedule, they would have played that up. anyhoo

    God Bless

Brignac will be an academic all american several times, so what is wrong with it being academic?
