The Conrad Brothers came through at the end. There may have been a little sibling rivalry going on there. I saw their father smiling from ear to ear when his sons both crossed the plate in the 9th.

Baseball is a trip...From a perspective of a non baseball fan.... What makes one team better than the other?.... strength?...No.... body/build ... No...speed?... maybe?... hitting?..... probably.... OK, hitting is probably the number one... but what makes a good hitting team.. the coach..lol.. really.... I think personally it's just a natural talent that the player has jmo......Oh, and there's pitching.... I guess that would figure into to the scheme of things...... so, ............... what's the most important position?..........I'll say pithcing, then hitting.....................

Their guy threw a great game tonight. He kept the ball down (and in the strike zone), and we pounded it into the ground over and over. He kept our hitters off balance, and we were WAY out in front of a ton of pitches, which leads to weak grounders and lazy fly balls off the end of the bat. Credit to him. We got to the 2nd guy.

Our pitchers, to me, looked a little too jacked up, and were over throwing. Their command was terrible. I haven't looked at a box score yet, but there were a ton of walks/hit batsmen, and LSU hit the ball well when our guys got behind in the count. That's baseball. I think the better team won tonight, but I also think our team will be fine. I also think LSU will have a very good season.

    Great research Bil.

Ask Bab if LSU saved a weekender for UL

Seems like they did what they always accuse us of doing.

With that said, though, we didn't compete...not at the plate...not from the mound.

Right, it would not have changed the outcome.

Although with Andy Gros UL would have won 2-0

Im amazed... UL fans in my section were having a great time at the game... Cheering for the cajuns and talking to the tiger fans around them... For the most part the tiger fans around us were mature and cheering for both teams (except for the usual 2 white trash infront of us who probably bought the lsu shirts at wal mart, and think they are playing in omaha)... Im also proud with how mature and professional RP is after the game, i went on tiggerdroppings and they are ready to shut down UL's baseball program after 1bad game... They think that UL looked at this game as a "world series game"... Reading TD i think they believe this was the NC game

Gotta love it. The aggressive approach at the plate gets us off to a 7-1 start and a loss to the #4 team in the nation whose pitcher threw a gem is cause to throw it out the window...

LSU destroyed that ___ last night. D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D!!! Karma is a _____ when you keep all the tickets to yourself.
I thought this was supose to be a rowdy crowd?...Some of the best baseball in Louisiana and in the south? It felt like i was a funeral. The stadium looks like ____, the fans suck and don't know ____ about baseball and everyone started leaving when LSU poured it on. For me i wasn't pleased with a 11-2 out come. I was hoping LSU would put up 15 plus points but it didn't happen. Two seasons in a row now LSU beat that ___ by a combined score of 16-2. Enjoy your ____ty baseball team the reast of the season b/c i'll be at the BOX!!
