Daddy: While I can understand the financial reason to do so-UL made tickets 1st available to RCAF members-leaving few if any available for sale to the general public (as I understand it). This had the practical effect of excluding LSU fans unless they joined RCAF or got tickets from friends. LSU has a high season ticket base which it sells based on TAF priority-but there are single game tickets still available and LSU also sells standing room tickets. In any event, hope both teams have successful seasons and make it to Omaha.
According to the Ryckman interview with Coach Babineaux this morning, UL made player tickets available to LSU that same that LSU does to the Cajuns when they play there, which is usually about 50 tickets. LSU requested some extra tickets from Matt Casbon, and he agreed to an additional 25 tickets. In addition, they did sell some SRO tickets, but those are extremely limited at the Tigue as they are not outfield locations so the amount of SRO space is extremely limited.
UL baseball season tickets is a little more than half of the seating (I think), and I don't have an issue with making the remaining tickets available first to RCAF members. I don't think LSU would do any differently. LSU has seating capacity of almost 10,000 with a season ticket base of over 9000 (from my understanding) and the park has much more SRO spaces available so a comparison of parks is not feasible.
Daddy Cajun is just drinking the kool-aid if he thinks ULL didn't have an agenda. Like i said, Karma is a _____ and ULL got the ___ whipping of a life time last night for it. LSU never pulled this ____ with ULL in the past. LSU needs to stop playing them and Tulane. Tulane jacks up prices, and ULL makes it extremely hard to get tickets. To bad more LSU fans couldn't go b/c it would of been more lively. I've always heard cajun games were fun to go too...even better than LSU, according to all the cajun fans but last night I could of sworn i was at a PGA event. It was DEAD last night and the atmosphere was depressing and boring. Cajuns can't tailgate or get rowdy for ____.
By all means...stay home next time...or is that the problem? Do you have a home Earl? Did Mrs. Earl, or * Sue as she likes to be known, kick you out for spending all the money on Dale Earnhardt collectibles? At least you can cheer on your LSU tigers...the proud team that has pulled you through so many tough times. The time you zipped your pants to quickly at the family reunion when your cousin gave you a peck on the check and you forgot your were at half mast...that was a rough one. Or the time your blue hummer with big tires (in reality this is a GMC Jimmy on bald tires), got stuck when you were trying to impress you wife after your trip to the local flea market and you saw an empty field. Or what about the time you got food poisoning from eating 17 cans of vienna sausages in less than an hour. But they were so good, weren't they Earl? It's comforting to always know that no matter how go awful your pitiful existence gets..you will always be able to say you cheer for the mighty fighting Tigers of LSU...unless they are playing Alabama.
This guy is lol'ing at all of you every time you quote and respond to him. He's likely in a group text of around 3-6 people. He has probably linked them to this thread and they laugh every time one of you gets worked up.
