JUPITER, Fla. — Former Astros minor-league reliever Mark Hamburger has been suspended 50 games for drug use, Major League Baseball announced Monday. Hamburger is a free agent. His suspension will become effective after he signs with a new team. The Astros waived Hamburger in mid-February. The 26-year-old right-hander appeared in 17 games for Class AAA Oklahoma City last season, posting a 4.71 ERA in 21 innings.
