Steve will drive me nuts, listening to incessant softball 101, but he does it in good faith and backs the program. After many years of following baseball on radio, I got used to the silence(LOL). In sum--tnx guys and keep getting the games to our "devices".
    I'm with you.

So, Turbine, you agree with Cajun71. That is, Stevie drives you nuts. He drives me nuts, too. That was the point of my post. I'm glad you agree.

Yes and I also gave you a Touche' earlier as well.

However I do not agree that he should shut up or that dead air is somehow better. Or that I was done with him, but yes I am a fan of pertinent content.

    I know I couldn't do what he does 60 games a year.

Well I know I did a little Jay bashing earlier in the thread, but I thought he did a great job on Sunday's game. I was at the game listening to him and he made the game very enjoyable.

The guy you're thinking of is Ian Auzenne. It's funny when he takes Stevie's place for home games because Stevie typically likes to keep the windows closed in the press box. Ian keeps those things wide open and you can hear his call from the bottom of the bleachers. He definitely gets fired up.

Ian is a good friend of mine. He'll be calling high school football games, along with Brandon Comeaux as color, on KPEL-FM this fall.
