Jarvis warmed in the bullpen and pitched 2/3 of an inning. While not much, he will not have quite the edge today he would have had if he were fresh.

Hence, Pat Murphy has used three of the four pitchers that he trusts on this roster (Leake, Satow, and Jarvis). Flores, his #3, is up next and the freshman Jarvis can still give him a couple of innings. While Parigi (UT transfer) has thrown a fair number of innings, he is the midweek starter and has been quite inconsistent this season.
