The Sun Devils withstood a late charge from the Ragin’ Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette to earn a victory in the second game of the crucial late season three-game series, 11-8.

Josh Satow, making his 13th start of the season for ASU, made quick work of the Cajun offense that had averaged seven-and-a-half runs per game coming into the series by holding them to three hits in seven innings of work, striking out 11 batters along the way. The bullpen however, was an extreme opposite. After Satow left the game the Cajuns went to work scoring seven runs in the last two innings off of a quartet of Sun Devil relievers, bringing the final score to a much closer result then either team was expecting in the first half of the ballgame.
