I don't understand why they would sell escort tickets tomorrow. Why not make the allotment bigger for students?

$16 for an escort I think.
Agreed. I would have been annoyed if I couldn't get a ticket since I go to a buttload of games each year. A bunch of them will probably show up wearing LSU ____
I've always said.. 15,000 students and we get ____ poor attendance from them. We can't fill up two sections in football or basketball... nearly no support for baseball or softball. Its kinda sad... at some point you should want to go to support your fellow student no matter the record.
They gave 121 free student tickets and they are selling another 121 tickets to students.
"Students with a valid UL student ID will be allowed to RECEIVE ONE FREE TICKET beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor of Vermilion Hall at the Student Union information desk.
These tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are only 121 FREE tickets available!
Students with a valid UL student ID will also be allowed to PURCHASE ONE TICKET at the price of $16 beginning on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor of Vermilion Hall at the Student Union information desk. These tickets are also very limited!"
Can I put a tree stand on one of the pine trees just over the fence and watch from there? Seriously.
Back in the late 80's early 90's I climbed in the trees to watch the game. The UPs came by and made my friends get out of the tree but they didn't see me. I was able to watch about 3 innings before the finally caught me.
So I am thinking the answer to your question is no. Good luck.
Geaux Cajuns!!
I know several LSU fans who bought season tickets so they would be guaranteed to have tickets for this game. So I think the crowd will probably be about 60/40 Cajuns.
A buddy of mine from work asked me last night if Icould grt him two tickets. He jnow I am RCAF donor. He grew up in Milton right down the road from me and has never attended Ellis Who.
Already knowing the answer I asked him what color shirt he planned on wearing to the game. He told me purple and gold but his wife would be wearing red.
I told him I would let him know what I can do. He is still waiting on a reply from me.
Has there been another home baseball game, let's say in the past 20ish years, that has garnered this much attention, hype, and demand for tix?
I made that mistake once with a co-worker here. Went through all the trouble to get him my allocation of UL tickets to the Tigah Pit in Baton Rouge( I sure wasn't going back there, he's a UL alum, I ___ umed) and find out he sits amongst our fellow alums wearing Mardi Gras colors. Not again.
I only ask because I never attended the big games when I was a young pup. Sidenote: For 6th grade science olympiad, me and my best friend's project was "The difference between Aluminum and Wood bats" and we performed this experiment at the Tigue and our guinea pig was Steven Feehan. I still have and wear his UL practice shirt with his number on it.
