Four phrases were used around UL back then. ( I forget the 4th) but in no particular order

Perhaps it was doing harm (injury) to a certain obsolete mascot which was considered political incorrect and whose new mascot is now a member of a pack of animals of a certain reddish ting!!!! Man I hope you can get some Slick Rick holds and Mr Magic launches!!!!

I wasn't a football player, my college years ranged from the 0-10 season in 1973 to the 9-2 season in 1976. I graduated in
1977.

It was exciting to see the improvement each year I was there. In basketball, the first two years were the death penalty, and they won the conference in 1976-77.
