LOUISIANA, La. - The Ragin' Cajuns softball team went into game two of the 27th Annual Louisiana Classics, riding a three game winning streak, all won by the 8-run mercy rule. They continued that trend, topping Texas State by a score of 9-1 in 6 innings, and Mississippi Valley State by a score of 16-4 in five innings, on Saturday February 16 at Lamson Park.

One day after getting her first collegiate base hit, the senior outfielder smashed a three-run homer on Saturday for her first career round-tripper as part of UL's slugfest doubleheader that produced wins of 9-1 over Texas State and 16-4 over Mississippi Valley State in Louisiana Classics action at Lamson Park.
