There were three new starters in the outfield, all junior-college transfers.
There was a new starting shortstop, Blake Trahan, straight out of Kinder High, and a new starting third baseman, Sam Carriere, a transfer from LSU-Eunice.
So far...my observation is that this team can FREAKIN HIT!!
Yes yes and yes, it looks like this team finally has some attitude back at the plate. If you're not aggressive at the plate in college baseball, you're not doing it right.
It's about damn time we see this change. Let's hope it stays this way throughout the season.
Robe is due for a solid team. It's seems like we make the NCAA every four years.
