Sounds like the kid really wants to play at a "big" school. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he decides to play for the Cajuns, but it's not looking like we're his first choice.

He'll end up at LSU, or at the very least, he'll sign with Kentucky. This whole "re-opened recruiting" charade has simply been a way for this guy to repair his damaged ego. He has never had any intention of signing with UL, TCU, or La Tech.

He can't sign right now with Kentucky or LaState. They are out of scholarships. Best they can offer is a grey shirt and sign next year.

No time for a squishy head. I know this kid is Gods gift to D Linemen, but through all this..now I wonder if he can handle a HUD spring training and two a days?

He likely thinks he's to good for UL. He was one of LSU's first commitments but was dethroned by two out of state studs. I think he will still take the LSU grey shirt. Maybe HUD will help home see the light, but it is an 18 year old kid we are talking about.

"Ms. Mable, show Mr. Lawson the pop machine in the hall and make him feel at home, I have to go through this great recruiting class and see where we stand now. If Mr Lawson makes up his mind tell him to come in and we will see what we can do". Hud continue what he was doing with a wide smile on his face......

If I was one of LSU's first commitments but got bypassed by other "better" recruits I would probably just go elsewhere. Sure, LSU is about as big time as it gets but that doesn't matter if you get to watch every game on the sidelines. I would rather go somewhere that I'm really wanted, get playing time almost instantly and still get a free ride.
