Two chair-back seats still available. If anyone wants them send me a PM. If I don't get any takers in the next 2 hours I'll just give them away at the gate.

If the big Man is big like you say, then I'm sure he would love for me to "meat" him. Is he a beef kinda guy?

Btw (by the way), j/k means just kidding.

What was Mike's greatest strength as a head coach. I'm not a big follower of the program other than the Internet and don't know much about softball. I ran across a guy once though that said mike was phenomenal at developing hitters, such as Orgeron.

Many in the softball "community" have criticized Mike for his methods however it has been hard to argue with his success. Bottom line....Mike is probably the best hitting coach in softball at any level.

I don't think you can attribute only to his diligence with teaching hitting. I think it starts before that with the ability to look at high school players and determining whether they would make good college softball players even if that wasn't their sport of choice. If I'm not mistaken, Cristi Orgeron was a soccer player that had to be convinced to play softball. The vast majority of our players (Ashley Brignac the exception) were not looked at by any of the softball powers and in a number of cases were overlooked by local Sun Belt teams. Mike has always had a great eye for potential and seeing the work ethic of the players he recruits.
