The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun Softball team started the season off with a split in day one at the Houston Hilton Classic on the University of Houston campus. The Cajuns topped Lipscomb University by a score of 5-2, before falling to the University of Iowa in a high scoring affair, by a final score of 13-10.

I'm not sure exactly what happened between Farmer & Lotief but I am more concerned about it than most people. Actually, I'm sorry it happened whatever it was. I believe it will affect our championship team negatively just like losing Payton hurt the Saints. I hope that it was unavoidable and not the result of being penny wise and dollar poor. I've seen this many times in business. The Administration need to understand who is paying their way and who is not. It's strange how some people get raises for no reason at all and the deserving go unappreciated!

Cajuns finish strong, sounds like it's going to be a strong season. They got an ugly one out of the way early this year which isn't bad!
