Bears Camp: The defense continued to look like the strength of the team during Wednesday’s practice, with Charles Tillman intercepting Rex Grossman for the third consecutive day Link

Eagles Camp: WR Bill Sampy, called a legitimate threat to make this team by offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg last week, continues to miss valuable time with a quadriceps injury. As the saying goes, you can't make the club in the tub. Link

CFL: We're still trying to get over the fact the Eskimos were playing the Stamps with a guy named Stamps -- Fred Stamps -- in their lineup. Link

Jonathan Lucroy delivered a single to right, scoring Haydel. With the bases loaded and none out, Link

The Panthers went 81 yards in 13 plays on their opening drive with DeShaun Foster ripping off several good cutback runs that eventually set up Delhomme's 5-yard TD toss to Smith, the catalyst of the Carolina offense. Delhomme, ... was 5-of-8 for 30 yards, playing one quarter. Link

Key play: Charles Tillman knocking the ball out of the hands of Texans receiver Kevin Walter is the kind of play the Bears expect their big-money cornerback Link

The rally was sparked by a fumble by Lions returner Ian Smart that was recovered by Kyries Hebert that led to the winning points Link

Edmonton back Ron McLendon and receiver Fred Stamps each caught a pair of passes on the drive to set up the touchdown. Link

First baseman Curt Rindel started the frame with a double, then scored on a single by catcher Jonathan Lucroy to give the visitors the 1-0 lead Link

Phillip Hawke had an RBI double and a sacrifice fly for Windy City (50-24), and Matt Petty struck out the side in the ninth for his 18th save Link

I'm sorry, but that is one of the funniest pictures I've seen in a long time. Trachsel looks like hes constipated in that picture. I am glad that Bako made the catch though.

Paul Bako's a huge reason -- they brought in a guy who's a leader as a backup catcher and who has a good feel for how to handle a clubhouse. Link

Trailing 5-1 going into the ninth, the Wildcats mounted quite a rally. Kyle Spangler and Danny Massiatte collected consecutive singles to start the frame. Adam Massiatte doubled in Spangler and former Sam Houston State standout Ryan Rosplock singled in Danny Massiatte. Link

Scott Dohmann (2-0) threw two scoreless innings for the victory. Link

Pitchers Kevin Ardoin, Matt Righter, Josh Rainwater and Freddy Dolsi teamed up to stifle what has been a very productive Fort Myers offense. Link

The Brewers were led by the pitching of Roque Mercedes, the hitting of Eric Farris and Jonathan Lucroy, and a plethora of web gems by their defense Link

Phillip Hawke hit his ninth home run of the season in the top of the 10th inning Friday night to give the Windy City ThunderBolts a 1-0 victory Link
