FROM THE BULLPEN: Scott Dohmann retired all four Bisons batters he faced before giving way to Chad Orvella. Link

Lastings Milledge drove home Batista and Cruz with a two-out triple before Corey Coles blooped a doubled down the rightfield line that scored Milledge >Link

Take, for example, Kyries Hebert's performance against the Alouettes Thursday. The safety had a whale of a game, racking up six special teams tackles. That's just one behind the Bombers single-game record, set when Brendan Rogers recorded seven against the B.C. Lions in 1994, and the most since Wade Miller had six in a game nearly a decade ago. Link

Third baseman Devery VandeKeere had three hits in rookie-advanced Idaho Falls' 15-8 loss to Orem. Link

Patrick Green twirled his second straight four-inning save, stranding the game's tying run at third base in the ninth inning Link

If the Bears and CB Charles Tillman do reach agreement on a long-term deal, Tillman's contract is expected to be worth more than Nate Vasher's Link

Looks like that is what happened. At least the guy who got the game-winning hit is a friend of Missingmandy's from Oregon (State).

Orien Greene, who's played for Boston and Indiana in his first two NBA seasons, was added to Miami's summer league roster Sunday Link

1978 Yankees prove comebacks are possible We had a man who was 25-3 with a 1.74 (earned run average) and 248 strikeouts," he said about lefty ace Ron Guidry, the current Yankee pitching coach. Link

Corey Coles blooped a double to right field to score Milledge and give the B-Mets a 5-3 lead. But the B-Mets had just three hits after the second inning. Link

Adam Ortiz and Devery VanDeKeere had two hits each in the frame. Link

Scott Dohmann earned his fifth save of the season after retiring the side in the ninth inning. Link

Chase Lambin capped a two-out, three-single uprising in the fifth to shave the deficit to 4-3. Link

OF Corey Coles led off the game with a single to center field and out later 3B Mark Kiger collected a single of his own after an 11 pitch battle. That put runners at first and second for 1B Mike Carp who doubled, scoring both Coles and Kiger, to put the Mets up 2-0. Link

Former Celtics and Pacers guard Orien Greene may be able to get an invite to veterans camp from the Heat, especially if Gary Payton retires (likely) and Jason Williams is traded (somewhat likely). Link

UCF closes out the homestand with a non-conference game with Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns are one of two teams the Knights are undefeated against on their 2007 docket. UCF is 3-0 against Louisiana-Lafayette and also owns a 4-0 mark against league foe UAB. Link

Antwain Spann, a reserve defensive back for New England, appeared mostly on special teams for the Patriots. The 6-foot-0, 190-pound Louisiana-Lafayette product was originally signed as a free agent on January 19, 2006. Initially a member of the practice squad, Spann was elevated to the active roster in time to appear in eight regular season games. He also played in all three postseason contests. Link

Reliever Scott Dohmann allowed the only other hit in the ninth inning, but forced a double play to conclude the contest. Link

The Devil Rays purchased the contract of reliever Scott Dohmann. Dohmann, 29, will make his Rays debut. He made 36 relief appearances for the Bulls, going 4-1 with five saves and a 2.08 ERA, holding opponents to a .211 batting average. He has not surrendered a run over his last 11 1/3 innings. Link

The last Cubs catcher with five or more RBIs was Paul Bako on April 5, 2003, when he drove in six at Cincinnati. Link

Corey Coles began the frame by doubling off Philip Hughes. He then stole third and scored on a throwing error by Thunder catcher Dan Conway for a 1-0 lead Link

We're not sure if there's a limit on how many times you can win this honour, but it looks like Kyries Hebert is going to set the record. Link

Edmonton's official lineup will likely look different from the 46-man list it announced Thursday. . . . Rookie Fred Stamps would move into one of the receiving spots Link

  10. NFL, NBA, MLB Re: Raging Paging

Mean down the middle Kyries Hebert (15 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 pass knockdown, CFL-high 11 special-teams tackles) make the middle a forbidding place. Link
