@travisjwebb: Lotief cites a want to spend more time with his family as a reason for the departure. More tonight at 5, 6 and 10 on @KATCTV3
@travisjwebb: Lotief will still travel with team this weekend and will serve in a volunteer capacity for the duration of the season.
Yea...but Slappy, this is STILL a HUGE disruption to a team positioned to be great this year. Having lost Stef and Joy...and now having their only reamaining coach serving at the will of a first time assistant cannot be a good thing. The team just CANNOT hit on all cylinders as it would have without this mess. Just not good.
I am totally confused. We now have a head coach who played last year and a volunteer coach who was the head coach who decides on the day before the season that he can't be away from the wife and kids. HUH!!!!!!! I think I need a beer.
I need some scotch from Z.
I agree with you, but the reason is that most people don't know about what Yvette went through and what she put up with when she was here and after she left. A real leader just absorbs it. I was listening to the Jay Walker program and Jay said that Yvette personally told him that she did some dumb things when she left. She's human.
Coach Lotief likewise made a big mistake, which in my estimation is bigger than any mistake Yvette made.
