Fair enough. But it depends on what the rift is. If it turns out to be that he can't (or doesn't want to) handle the extra duties (administrative) that his wife used to handle, yet took the extra combined pay of both, rather than hire and use that money to pay another coach, that will be on him. Of course I am speculating, which I probably should not be doing. But this is a fan message board with all of us crazy, weird fans!!!! LOL!!!

    My solution:

Her summer fall break is over, hire Stefni back.

If he still has issues after the season, feel free to resign and spill his guts. No way he can maintain his reputation if he does not honor his commitment to HIS GIRLS!
A counter to that could be, what the hell was Farmer doing ____ing off one of the most successful coaches in the nation and this athletics department's history the day before the season starts?

Not sure who is right in this situation, but Farmer has done more things in the past few years to not garner my trust than what Lotief has done in the 10+ years he has been here. Why don't we let the situation play itself out before we start talking about someone's honor and reputation.

How can you question the man's honor when you have no idea what happened. Maybe his honor is exactly what he is standing up for. After what the man has battled health wise...doesn't seem like the type to quit very easily. Most people that are quitters who have the disease that he did, dont stick around this earth very long.

I want Luscious Renee as the Interim Coach

I'm thinking "Master Plan" involves budgets and Michael Lotief got to see the "Master Plan."

if it is in fact a beef between Mike and the ath. dept. and this is how he finishes it.....I have NO respect for that guy. You have a top 15 team of girls who bust their @sses for him all off season and the day before the season starts he quits.......Na man....thats weak. Interested to hear what the back story is on this fiasco.
