HOUCajun,
You are right. But it will be a FACT that IF he resigns today, it WILL be the day before the season starts! If true, in my eyes, that will trump any other legitimate issues he may have had. ABSOLUTLEY won't be able to cut him any slack if that happens!!! Of course, that is only me.
If any of this has to do with Farmer kicking the pooch again, then its time Farmer packs his bags. Farmer dropped the ball with the Tigue, we are ____ing money away on a basketball coach that has done diddly poop. And if they even think that calling Yvette Girourd is a good choice as an "interim" then Farmer should have a mental evaluation done stat.
Let's just go ahead and do this too:

Sounds like Stevie P hasn't left for Houston yet.
Apparently Lotief and Dr. S are still meeting.
If Lotief resigns this season, it will be on him, not Farmer, regardless of what the issues may be. AN HONORABLE COACH WILL NOT ABANDON HIS TEAM ONE DAY BEFORE THE START OF A SEASON!!!!!!!! END OF THE STORY!!!! Again, this story is still yet to play out, but in my mind the only way Lotief can salvage his reputation is to coach this season. If he still has issues after the season, feel free to resign and spill his guts. No way he can maintain his reputation if he does not honor his commitment to HIS GIRLS!

Oh good grief, a caller just mentioned Girouard.
Fair enough. But it depends on what the rift is. If it turns out to be that he can't (or doesn't want to) handle the extra duties (administrative) that his wife used to handle, yet took the extra combined pay of both, rather than hire and use that money to pay another coach, that will be on him. Of course I am speculating, which I probably should not be doing. But this is a fan message board with all of us crazy, weird fans!!!! LOL!!!
