For a while, it appeared UL was going to get six home football games - including four home Sun Belt Conference games - in 2013. Not anymore.
The Ragin' Cajuns will play three SBC home games in the coming season, a conference spokesman said Monday.

Man how much money are we losing by not having at least 6 home games???? I guess they are planning the next years schedule with this cut in our home games!!!
Yeah, but why should a brand new member get 4 home games off the bat? Shouldn't they suck hind tit first?
No more Mr Nice Guy---I just hope we don't sign that exit fine deal!!!1
It had something to do with their transition to fbs, I guess it would have affected us and the conference if they were not able to attain fbs status. Email farmer, I'm sure he will get right back with you. If they don't get fbs status then we have 2 FCS teams on our schedule, only 1 FCS win counts toward bowl eligibility
This was part of the plan, we were never going to get a 4th game but GSU said go ahead take ours, but then found out the NCAA required them to have that fourth game. You can never lose what you never had.
It is a good road game, we get to pound them at their place, the Cajun Nation gets a nice trip, and coaches get to show our team in front of a metro area of eight million people. Not a bad recruiting trip at all. I mean we gotta play this team one way or the other.
Just do what we have done the last two season's and all this play on how many home games we have will take care of itself. Other teams will be calling to schedule a game at the swamp knowing that it will be a feather in their helment.......
We need to have great weather for all 5 home games next season and sell those suckers out! It is imperative to average over capacity!
Can we change the name of this thread? I don't like the way it sounds. How's about "Cajuns denied the ability to host 6 games". Sounds better IMO.
